Who? What? When? Where? Why?

Who am I?

Let’s start with the simple, shall we? My name is Hannah Gulick. I am a local artist trying to share my artwork with the community. I love to make art fun and enjoyable for the viewer. I explore different colors and textures while maintaining a practical sense of shape and form.

What do I do?

I have experience working with multiple mediums to create drawings and paintings. Most of my work includes charcoal drawings, colored pencil drawings, and acrylic paintings. I create pieces for self-enjoyment and make people’s ideas come to life through commissioned works.

When did this happen?

Everyone has a dream and mine started in high school when I decided to give art more of my attention. A dream became a reality when I received a scholarship for my art portfolio from the University of Kansas and decided to give it my all. I learned a lot in school, however, I ultimately decided to stray from the school path and start Mosco Art.

Where am I located?

Although being in many different places over the years I am located in Kansas City, Missouri.

Why do I create?

Now this is a loaded question, but I’ll keep it short. I love art and being creative. Straying away from practicality has always been my goal in life. There have been many supportive people around me that made me enjoy art and realize I can do more with it than keep it to myself… I can share it with you! (and maybe down the line inspire others to do the same.)
